Registration for the Adult Summer Reading Program begins June 6. Adults read or listen to 10 books, newspapers, or magazines noting each one in the reading record. Turn in a completed reading record by Friday, August 5 at 6 pm to be eligible to win prizes.
Summer Library Programs include an Exercise Your Mind Film Series, Adult Coloring Sessions, and a visit from paranormal researcher Terry Fisk on Thursday, June 30 at 6:30 pm where he will present a program about psychic phenomena. The library offers regular monthly programs for adults during Fall through Spring:
Morning Knitting Group - Wednesday mornings at 9:30 a.m. - no meetings June - Labor Day
Evening Knitting Group - Thursday evenings at 5:30 p.m.
Book Discussion Group - 3rd Thursday of the month at 6:30 p.m. - no meetings during June, July, August or December: 2017 Book Group Titles (PDF)
Do It Yourself (DIY) Programs - typically the 1st or 2nd Thursday of the month at 6:30 pm. Please see our calendar for scheduled events.
Cabin Fever Series
Our Cabin Fever Series of events is usually held during the months of January, February, and March each year. It features a variety of programs to enrich, educate and inspire, including the popular DIY programs and the annual Knit Retreat. A separate Knit Retreat brochure detailing classes and potluck lunch information will be posted later.
